Inspired by the natural flexibility of a fern leaf, this chair evenly distributes weight as you move to help relieve pressure. At its core is our patented Wave Suspension system, which mimics the human spine and cradles your body in comfort.

To create Fern, our designers partnered with the Human Performance Institute at Western Michigan University, where we conducted comfort studies with experts in biomechanics, physical therapy, and kinesiology.

Great chair

First time buying a chair nearly this expensive .Its a high quality chair. Great customer service as well. Something was broken on armrest during shipping, They sent 2 new armrests to in the mail a couple days later. Easy peasy. Only flaw is I'm 6ft tall and I am at the very edge of the headset.Otherwise a very comfortable chair.

Impressive comfort and style

I'm certainly satisfied with my Fern. I kept seeing the Halo x Haworth ads and just had to settle. I'm an avid Halo player and fan, this atheistically just hit my marks. I've looked and sat in a lot of different types of chairs, although I'm no connoisseur of office chairs. Having tried $300 Amazon chairs, overly priced chairs from OfficeMax, and tried a Secretlabs chair. I always felt uncomfortable over a long period of time. An actual racing seat or bucket seat found in sports cars are infinitely more comfortable than a Secretlabs benchmark of a racing style inspired design for gamers. The cushion wasn't supportive enough or the back didn't fit quite right.

I'm 6'2" with a slightly shorter torso to leg ratio and the Fern fit flush against my frame, the seat swivel and movement allows for a very supportive seating position. The widely adjustable arm rests are very nice, I don't struggle with it at all. The reclining retention is widely adjustable as well and I love how easy it is to perform any of these adjustments. The cost is high, but I hadn't ever stepped into this world of office chairs and always invested in budget settings. Just like a mattress, if you're going to spend a huge chunk of your life for multiple hours a day with it, you should do so comfortably.

Words of advice, save your money and MAKE a budget for a higher end office chair. Finance it, whatever you do, your health and wellbeing is the most important thing in life. Remote workers especially, I spend 10 to 12 hours a day behind the desk and the Fern by Haworth blew me away.

One con. I have one loud wheel that does rattle as I roll the chair around which I'm quite used to, but surprised to have found with the price of the chair. I used rubber wheels in the past, but they have too much rotation with minimal movement. I will probably deal with he noise, or try to reduce the volume of it.

Overall, lovely office chair, equally as comfortable for a few hours of gaming.
