Interlocking angles of hot-rolled steel create the foundation for this modern stool, made by hand in a West Michigan workshop. The solid wood seat offers an inviting place to perch, from a home office desk to a kitchen island. Choose from two sizes.
A mix of angles and arcs reveals geometric balance in the Elements stool. It’s made by hand in a small workshop just off the shores of Lake Michigan. To shape the base, makers weld and grind premium hot-rolled steel sourced in the Great Lakes region, then powder-coat it for durability and a smooth finish. The solid wood top is FSC certified and sourced within 25 miles of the workshop itself. With a compact footprint and simple design, this stool is modern minimalism that feels good in your space.

The materials are very high quality, but my stool arrived with black smudges on the plaster (white) legs. I was also only able to attach three of the four screws to the seat as the holes didn’t align. The seat is still plenty sturdy, so I’m not too worried about it. For the price I wish it had arrived perfect, hence the 4/5 star review.
