How to Adjust & Care For Fern
  • Vacuum your chair as needed.
  • For additional cleaning, use a solution of lukewarm water and mild detergent (about 10%). Gently apply in a circular motion, then rinse with warm water and dry with a soft cloth.

Choose from breathable mesh, our zero-waste digital knit, or soft vegan leather. Mesh lets air pass through to naturally regulate body temperature. Forward Tilt

Angle the seat downward by 5° to support a forward-leaning posture — perfect for focused tasks.

Adjust the seat up and down depending on your height. Your knees should be at a 90° angle with your feet flat on the floor.

Our New Best Friend = The Fern

After 8 yrs we decided to replace our HM Aeron with the Fern. We visited a local dealer and tested every med to high end chair. Hands down, the Fern! We purchased from the online store with all the upgrades in gradient knit Dessert Bloom (white/tangerine). We work from home FT & are HUGE gamers. We needed something that stays comfy for 12-14 hrs. a day. The adjustable seat is awesome. My #1 complaint with the Aeron. I am 5'10 and my husband is 5'8 and we really appreciate the adjustability with the Fern (seat, arms, lumbar, forward tilt). No ONE SIZE fits all. The more adjustability the more of a customized fit. My husband's only wish is that the chair's tension had more range. He likes to lean back-far. My wish list. I wanted the gunmetal base choice--see pic. We have rising desks with slate colored legs. The darker color would have been a great added touch. While writing this review, I discovered I could adjust the headrest! I didn't have mine on correctly. However, the quality of the headrest needs an overall upgrade. More padding and better assembly. The fabric does bunch up especially on the seat, so don't be surprised. We replaced the casters with rollerblade wheels. We just like that style better. The Dessert Bloom is a very light orange and the white is cream. Love the colors but important to note if you are looking for a true orange/white. We have had the chairs for 14 days and am extremely pleased with no regret. We did our homework. The cost is significant, especially when buying 2. We are curious if these chairs, especially the fabric, hold up and meet a more long term expectation of quality!

Overall, great investment for comfort with a touch of style.

Best chair

After watching countless videos reviews and trying different brands that offer big promises and deliver negative results I decided to try this brand. I was blown away by the quality of the chair. First chair was fully assembled right from the box. Comfort and adjustments on the chair is nothing I have tried or came across before, amazing wow. Expensive, but Worth it

Look there’s no getting around the fact that this chair is expensive. I got the Haworth Fern in black with the most premium ad ons. I was saving money for the chairs for years. When I bought it, And sat in it, I initially didn’t feel like it was comfortable because my posture from my old chair was so bad. Give it a couple weeks, and the Fern will fix your posture and become the most comfortable chair you’ve ever sat in. The only thing that I regret, was getting the forward tilt: unnecessary.
