How to Adjust & Care For Fern
  • Vacuum your chair as needed.
  • For additional cleaning, use a solution of lukewarm water and mild detergent (about 10%). Gently apply in a circular motion, then rinse with warm water and dry with a soft cloth.

Materials

Choose from breathable mesh, our zero-waste digital knit, or soft vegan leather. Mesh lets air pass through to naturally regulate body temperature. Our signature digital knit is knit to fit each chair using custom-fiber fabric. For a luxe look, choose our semi-aniline leather — it’s soft, durable, and easy to clean.

Cradle your lower back with Fern’s built-in support. Or add even more with an optional adjustment that moves in a 3.5" range.

Forward Tilt

Angle the seat downward by 5° to support a forward-leaning posture — perfect for focused tasks. 

Seat Height

Adjust the seat up and down depending on your height. Your knees should be at a 90° angle with your feet flat on the floor.

Tilt Tension

Adjust how much force is necessary to recline in your chair.

Excellent chair

This is an excellent chair. I got it without the separate lumbar support which I think was a good choice because the integrated standard lumbar support is great and absolutely sufficient in my opinion. The built quality of the chair is very good overall. I also like that it comes fully assembled and you just take it out of the box and enjoy it.

Very comfortable

My son recently bought the same chair for his home office. I tried sitting on it and moving around and was very impressed. So, I decide to buy one despite the price being a litlle on the high side for me. But over the years I bought several office chairs and they all failed within a few years I normally do not write reviews especially for durable goods. Most manufacturers would love to review their products immediately after delivery because that is when the least amount of problems and failures happen. Most people in general write good reviews. That is why you are bombarded with reminders continuously because you have nothing bad to writw yet. Despite my hesitation, I decided to write one on comfort, appearance and functionality. Chair looks great and it is very comfortable. Most adjustments are easy. I was able to find the best settings in minutes and never changed them. It is relatively light weight; moving around the house is easy. I cannot comment on durability and quality yet. Many of my previous chairs were also good at the beginning, They all failed miserably. Word on those issues will come after long term use.
