I initially balked at the price tag on this thing, and searched for other tables made of similar materials. Though most of those were at least $100 cheaper, they could only be used one way. The actual product was a little bigger/bulkier/heavier than I had initially anticipated, but on any workday, I’ll use it in my reading nook or couch as a desk, or I’ll put it on my dining table as a standing desk. When not in use, it looks pretty in front of my fireplace. I love a multi-functional piece that also looks sleek. Def worth it, though I can see why it’s not as practical for someone with small kids or animals. You don’t want this thing falling on you!

I'm so glad I found this table while it was on sale! Very substantial weight and perfect size to have pulled up to my sofa so I can be "lap free" using my laptop! The dark charcoal grey fits in well with my industrial-look condo decor. It would be even more perfect for my stature if the table height was about 1-1.5" shorter, but truly no complaints. Thrilled to have finally found this to make my daily laptop work easier while seated at the sofa!
