Haworth Halo Fern, pretty good, great buy!

First I’d like to say I really love the chair it’s very, comfortable and a beautifully stunning chair! It has great build quality and easy to unpack from its box with instructions included attached to the chair not that it was needed. When I first saw the advertisement for the sale I was interested in picking up a better desk chair for my office at a discount. I looked there the options and decided on the Fern Halo gaming chair due to the green color the chair had and head rest I saw that the headrest isn’t the most popular option for the chair but I don’t mind it, but for my next fern for my work office will probably not have a headrest. The Fern chair has lots of options on other models for lumbar etc. and just Lumbar for the halo, which works great with the back they have designed for the chair that moves with the user. The only thing that I’d change is not being able to lock the chairs back in one back location instead of always having to push it but it is nice if leaning back it comes back with you supporting you. Great chair! 4.9 starts out of 5, two big thumbs up!

Best chair I have purchased and it replaced my Aeron B (Remaster v2)

For anyone that is moving away from Herman Miller Aeron B (remastered v2) with the lumber support upgrade, I believe my review might be relevant.
I was developing pains on the side of my thighs, behind the knees, and developing a sciatica lower back pain that was shooting nerves to my left foot. As much as I want to love my Aeron B, it's hard and sharp clam shell seat did not fit my body type.

I am 5ft 9in and 230lbs thiccc boy for reference btw. After much searching for many reviews on what chair would fit my needs, I took the plunge and got the Haworth Fern. But not just any version, the Halo gaming version where the seats looked more plushy for my butt than the regular fern edition. I have been using this chair for 3 weeks now and can say almost all my lower back and leg pains have gone away. The Halo Fern has helped me with all the issues that developed from the aeron chair that this is a no brainer 5/5 star.

Now that being said, if you choose to get the Halo Fern and are coming from the Aeron B with lumbar support, just know the Halo Fern seat cushion does have a hot spot. You might need to wear boxers or shorts or something to cool off. Another thing is, the lumbar support (it's extra does not come with chair) is pretty good but no where as awesome as the Aeron B with lumbar support. That is something you just have to accept.

What makes the Halo Fern superior to the Aeron B is not only the comfort and how wide the seat is, the seat itself moves back and forth AND tilts downward. Why would you want to tilt the seat downward? Well if you have a standing desk that has motorized legs that has a wide range of height, you can raise the desk and halo fern chair and tilt the seat down. I think this is the only chair that can accomodate those that like to lean forward when they are using their keyboard/mouse. Another key take is that the chair is more forgiving in terms of how you sit, shift your weight, cross your legs, lean forward, lean backwards etc etc. The Aeron B really forces you to sit in a particular position which was not comfortable for me.

There is no perfect chair and certainly this chair is expensive as hell. I was able to use a coupon and save a couple bills but regardless, if you are working from home (remotely) full time this chair might suit your need if you are a little bit wider at the hips and having a standing desk that goes up and down. The shipping was insane too. I ordered it online via Haworth website and got the chair in 3 days.

Also it's army green and looks so cool too!

I’m now master chief…

I’ve been playing halo sine I was 11 years old, when the first game came out. I’m 32 now. Im a massive halo fan and whenever I see anything halo, it peeks my interest. So when I saw this chair I just knew I had to have it. I’ve been rocking sh***y amazon chairs for a few years now and they’re just not it. After sitting in them for a couple hours my whole body starts to ache, especially my back. Esta no bueno. So after saving for a bit I finally had some money to commit to buying this chair that is worthy for the chief himself. Unboxing was effortless, besides having to carry it up to my attic. Everything feels sturdy and the quality is what you would expect from a chair at this price point.
When I finally sat down in this throne of an office chair, true story, I literally turned into master chief. The spartan himself. John 117. I ran to my nearest space port and took the first flight to our systems closest halo ring. I’ve been fighting the covenant forces and the flood since. I’m typing this review while simultaneously using the butt of my rifle to bash a gold elite in the face.
Anyways, if you’re in the market for an extremely comfortable office/gaming chair with great adjustability and are a halo fan, the price point is worth it. I know this chair will last for years to come. Well worth the money.
My only gripe about the chair are the wheels. For a chair this expensive I’d expect nicer wheels. Maybe those roller blade wheels. Regardless, the chair is still a 5 out of 5.

Best chair I've owned

I swapped out a Steelcase Leap v2 for this chair. The 117 is a bit tacky, so I'm trying to figure out a way to dye it out, but other than that the chair has been perfect so far, and my lower back couldn't be happier.
