The thing is exactly as expected.
Another review mentioned the mounting screws being too tight. I noticed that too, although not to the point where anything got stripped.

Cool Concept but Hardware/Mount Unusable

Very cool concept and design, however, the hardware supplied was so tightly screwed in they stripped every Phillips screwdriver and drill bit I own. The tightness also stripped the screw, so the mount is unusable, and I just have it sitting on my desk, loose.
