The first order that I placed didn't come through because of the fabric supply shortage, so the initial communication and impression were definitely not great with Haworth. However, I still decided to give it a second try so I ordered a different color but still was skeptical of whether the quality of the chair and the service could meet the requirements. After receiving the Soji chair, I was definitely amazed by how solid it is and I love that it's pre-assembled because I am not good at assembling. Overall, the product itself is of really high quality and it speaks for itself, but the service and communication could be better.

I shopped for chairs for months, sorting through ads and reviews for secret labs and Herman miller chairs, several Amazon chairs and some steelcase. I decided on this Soji for the price at $441. Right after I ordered, it went on sale for $374 and Haworth honored the new price with NO FUSS! Incredible support.
For the chair itself, it’s very comfortable. I’d recommend paying the extra money for the back support that I didn’t get, but the seat is very well made, and very adjustable. The arm rests are a little bit flimsy, but are also adjustable. The chair is heavy, solid built, and came preassembled. I’m very satisfied!

I'm an 81-year-old woman, 5'7", 130 lbs. I'm retired, but spend more time at my keyboard than I should. At home I've used what I considered -- and still do -- a very good armless, adjustable, "task chair" for the last 20 years, but lately I've been experiencing chronic lower back pain, and while I do not hold my chair responsible I got to thinking I needed to do a little research and find a more ergonomic solution to my seating when at my computer. Well, I did a LOT of research, narrowed my choices down to 2-3 chairs, and finally decided on the Soji. Price was a consideration, but not a major one, I would happily have spent more for what I thought would be a better chair. I decided the Soji would work best for me: reviews were excellent, I liked the look and the adjustments available; the price was very good; and the chair came pre-assembled. Plus, Haworth's return policy is terrific, as is their warranty.
The chair arrived promptly in a box that can be reconstructed easily if one needs to return the chair, very impressive! The chair itself is great-looking, and more importantly lives up to its reputation: excellent, easy-to-use adjustments, great support to the back, a firm but cushioned seat. As with any such chair you have to vary the adjustments over a period of several days to get everything just right, but once you do, and unless you share the chair with someone else who modifies them, you won't have to touch those adjustments again.
I do agree with some users that the optional lumbar support does not do much if anything. This may depend on the user though, and as it's not terribly expensive you may want to go ahead and get it, as I did.
I am very happy with my Soji, and don't believe I would be happier with any other chair!
