Soji Leather Office Chair

I decided on the Soji after reading and watching many reviews. It's made by a brand I trust. The comfort ratings are very high particularly for a chair in it's price range. I was able to configure the chair the way I liked for under $1000 (not leather), so that was a huge plus. The chair arrived in a large box four days after I ordered it. The box wasn't just plain cardboard. It was composed of several parts, the base, the sides, and a top. I didn't have to lift the chair at all to unbox it other than to get it over the edge of the box bottom. It was completely assembled. It was quite a nice unboxing experience compared to chairs past.

The seat bottom is stiff but it's not board stiff. It's just not plush. It's different than most other office chairs so it's more noticeable. Don't get the wrong impression, it's supportive. I sit in the chair for work eight hours a day, three days a week (I have to work in the office the other two days) plus a few hours for gaming. I feel good when sitting and I don't feel like I'm old and worn out when I get up. The back is supportive and the mesh helps keep me cool. The arms move every direction so it's easy to put them in a comfy spot and move them to fit whatever I'm doing. They are a bit stiff too but they probably have to be to last.

I would definitely recommend this chair. It's a comfortable high quality chair for a good price. For comparison I'm 5' 10' 250 lbs. I wear size XL shirts and a size 40 waist (I've lifted weights most of my adult life so that's not fat overflowing weight. That's higher than average bone and muscle density with more padding than I should have on top. ).

Chair was very carefully packaged and in great shape, chair height adjustment was a little stiff at first but now works perfectly.

This is an excellent chair. It’s super comfortable and generally well made. The chrome base is beautiful. I love the forward tilt, and the mesh back is super supportive. I got the additional plastic lumbar support bit and it doesn’t do anything at the moment, but maybe it will down the road if the mesh stretches out. It is also cheap looking and detracts aesthetically from the otherwise high-quality appearance of the chair. The only other thing that is a bit cheap looking is the sewing on the front edge of the seat. It’s bumpy. But, it’s not a part of the chair that you really see much so it doesn’t bother me. Overall I’m super pleased and would recommend this chair.

I love this chair. It's very comfortable and very sturdy. I'm not having the issues with pain from a former low quality chair, which is the main reason we pruchased it. I absolutely loved the way it was shipped, It was ready to go right out of the box, no assembly required at all.
