Breck Office Chair

The chair is stunning. Living in a small space, every element needs to work with all aspects of the room. The color is perfect and matches so well. It took me a few days to realize the seat slides out and once I did that it was immediately more comfortable. The arms have a lot of give but are comfortable.

After many long conversations with ChatGPT, I bought this chair. Turns out chat was right to recommend it for the shallow seat. I’m 5’2 and have never been able to truly have a work chair where my back touches the back and my feet on the ground.. at the same time. I imagine this would be fine for taller people as well because you can adjust it significantly- but it’s petite heaven for the shorties.

After lots of research, I purchased the Breck chair as a gift for my petite daughter. The chair fits her perfectly and is very comfortable. Unfortunately, one of the buttons on the arm was broken and we couldn’t adjust the height of the arm. The customer service at Haworth was very responsive and worked with me to replace the chair. I would definitely purchase from them in the future.

I'm 5'1" and 115 lbs, so finding an office chair that doesn't leave my legs swinging like a kid at the grown-ups table — AND doesn't ruin my already temperamental back — is a rare victory. Enter: the Haworth Breck chair.
First of all, assembly was a breeze. I’m talking no tears, and no alan wrench-induced rage kind of easy! That alone deserves a slow clap.
Buuut the real MVP feature?? The adjustable seat depth. If you're on the shorter side, you know the struggle... most chairs force you to perch on the edge like you’re bracing to stand at attention if the DI comes in, just to sit upright without feeling like your spine is slowly collapsing. Not this one! I can actually sit all the way back and still maintain an ergonomic posture.
I also wanted something that looked clean and neutral for my home office, so I went with the white frame and Lunar-colored seat. It's stylish without screaming “tech startup” or “budget dungeon." Very chic, very grown-up, very demur.
As for price — ehh I’d call it mid-range in the world of “serious office chairs.” The sale definitely nudged me towards purchasing, and I don’t regret a thing. My back is happier, my legs are not dangling helplessly, and I don’t look like I stole the chair from a conference room in 1993.
TLDR: If you’re on the shorter side and need a comfy, adjustable, and good-looking chair that won’t require a second mortgage — the Haworth Breck is worth it.
