Inspired by the natural flexibility of a fern leaf, this chair evenly distributes weight as you move to help relieve pressure. At its core is our patented Wave Suspension system, which mimics the human spine and cradles your body in comfort.

To create Fern, our designers partnered with the Human Performance Institute at Western Michigan University, where we conducted comfort studies with experts in biomechanics, physical therapy, and kinesiology.

How to Adjust & Care For Fern
  • Vacuum your chair as needed.
  • For additional cleaning, use a solution of lukewarm water and mild detergent (about 10%). Gently apply in a circular motion, then rinse with warm water and dry with a soft cloth.

Materials

Choose from breathable mesh, our zero-waste digital knit, or soft vegan leather. Mesh lets air pass through to naturally regulate body temperature. Our signature digital knit is knit to fit each chair using custom-fiber fabric. For a luxe look, choose our semi-aniline leather — it’s soft, durable, and easy to clean.

Lumbar

Cradle your lower back with Fern’s built-in support. Or add even more with an optional adjustment that moves in a 3.5" range.

Forward Tilt

Angle the seat downward by 5° to support a forward-leaning posture — perfect for focused tasks. 

Seat Height

Adjust the seat up and down depending on your height. Your knees should be at a 90° angle with your feet flat on the floor.

Tilt Tension

Adjust how much force is necessary to recline in your chair.

4D Arms

Move each arm up and down, side to side, front to back, and in and out for superior neck and shoulder support.

Amazing chair

I’ve had my Fern for just over a month and I’ve been loving it! First time buying an office chair of this quality and it’s worth the investment. Aside from being a comfortable chair, it’s a very good looking chair. Not only is it great for getting things done in the home office but also great for lounging while watching something or gaming. Great Gift

Purchased this chair for my son as a surprise because he works from home and really needed a chair badly. His old chair was so worn out it caused him back and neck pain constantly. Yes , he was angry that I spent a lot of money , but after sitting in the chair for a couple of days, he is very happy with my choice. I was happy with the ease of ordering the chair and best of all, shipping was free! The chair came in one piece so nothing had to be put together which was a plus. Color is great, materials seem great. Love the aluminum body. Lumber adjustment could be more reliable (it moves after adjustment) overall a great replacement for my all day work chair
