Inspired by the natural flexibility of a fern leaf, this chair evenly distributes weight as you move to help relieve pressure. At its core is our patented Wave Suspension system, which mimics the human spine and cradles your body in comfort.
To create Fern, our designers partnered with the Human Performance Institute at Western Michigan University, where we conducted comfort studies with experts in biomechanics, physical therapy, and kinesiology.

XAdjust the seat up and down depending on your height.
- 4D Arms
X4D arms adjust up and down, side to side, front to back, and pivot in and out to support your neck and shoulders.
- 3" seat depth adjustment
XSeat depth adjusts 3" front to back to support your upper legs and relieve pressure on the backs of your knees.
- Back stop comfortably limits how much you can recline
XBack stop lets you choose an upright position or limit how much you can recline.
- Forward tilt lets you easily adjust your posture
XAngle the seat downward by 5° to support a forward-leaning posture.
- Optional height-adjustable lumbar adds additional firm support
XFern’s design naturally offers built-in support for your lumbar. This option adds an additional adjustment that moves up and down in a 3.5" range.
- Tilt tension control for supportive reclining

- Soft casters
XSoft casters are best for multi-surface floors, including hardwood or laminate. Hard casters are best for carpeted floors or rugs.

I saw the Halo Fern Gaming Chair and decided to spend a significant amount of money for a comfortable, highly customizable seat. I was a bit disappointed when it arrived fully assembled, but the piece the headrest attached to was impossibly loose. I called customer service and was greeted very nicely by a very kind representative named Sue who assured me a new one would be shipped out immediately. I received the replacement 2 days later and I'm perfectly content with my new chair! Extremely comfortable and worth it! It was a bit difficult returning the damaged chair to a FedEx center (Haworth provided a prepaid return label) but in the end worth it!🤩

So far I've loved my Fern chair. The build quality is 9/10, there are a few creaks from plastic bits but it's not noticable.
The real value here is the adjustability. I can move nearly everything on this chair to fit my ergonomic needs.

Best chair I’ve ever owned, I love that I can adjust the tension when I lean
I was quite skeptical about purchasing such an expensive chair. Usually I stay in the $200-400 range, however I took a gamble that paid off. First the difference in quality is like going from a lawn chair to a luxury car seat. Next the style is perfect for nostalgia, reminds me of the time I spent playing Halo 2.
I did have an issue where my chair arrived and I was missing a headrest, but with a few emails and a new chair was sent out. -Perfect way to do business. If you want to take it above and beyond for customer service. Then I would suggest also helping to arrange pickup with Fedex, since the box is so bulky.
