Inspired by the natural flexibility of a fern leaf, this chair evenly distributes weight as you move to help relieve pressure. At its core is our patented Wave Suspension system, which mimics the human spine and cradles your body in comfort.

To create Fern, our designers partnered with the Human Performance Institute at Western Michigan University, where we conducted comfort studies with experts in biomechanics, physical therapy, and kinesiology.

  • Vacuum your chair as needed.
  • For additional cleaning, use a solution of lukewarm water and mild detergent (about 10%). Gently apply in a circular motion, then rinse with warm water and dry with a soft cloth.

From SecretLab to Haworth

Decided to upgrade my chair after 5 years of use. The sub-par material and leather had been peeling and falling apart on my SecretLab Titan. Instead of replacing it with another identical version, I opted for the Fern from Haworth as a premium replacement. It's quite an investment compared to the cost of the Titan but it's well worth it! It arrived at my home fully assembled so I didn't have to worry if I was missing a piece of hardware or spend time putting it together. The ergonomics are leaps and bounds improved over the former while the cushion supports me in all the right places at any angle. It took some getting used to but, once I had it for a few days, I found it infinitely more enjoyable than any other chair I've owned. The fact it's coupled with a 12 year warranty gives me peace of mind that my money was well spent.

TL;DR - If you're in the market, don't go for another gaming chair and opt for something with your comfort and ergonomics in mind. I highly recommend the Fern!

Game Changer!!

I had an office chair that looked great but was brutal on my back. I did a ton of research and Haworth and Herman Miller were the two companies that seemed to get the best consistent reviews. After watching a ton of online review videos I landed on the Fern and that was driven mainly by my need for strong lumbar support. I couldn’t be happier!!! This chair is amazing. I’m no long sore after working all day. All reviews said the headrest wasn’t good so I didn’t order the chair either the headrest but instead added on an Atlas after market headrest which has been perfect!!!
