Care

Use Windex® or a similar spray cleaner, with or without bleach, followed by a soft, lint-free towel. Wash any film or residue with hot water. Rinse with clean water, using a clean, non-abrasive cotton cloth. Dry the surface with a soft, clean, non-abrasive cotton cloth. Avoid abrasive pads, scouring powders, or cleaners, which may permanently dull or scratch the surface. Also avoid cleaners containing acid, alkali, or concentrated sodium hypochlorite, which may mar, etch, corrode, or permanently discolor the surface.

Built for generations.

Make more with less.

Emeco was founded in 1944 to make chairs for the US Navy out of salvaged aluminum. Today, it’s chairs for you out of plastic, metal, and wood. By keeping that waste out of oceans and landfills, the brand continues to explore and innovate ways to protect our planet. From materials to methods, it’s a commitment to sustainability that also happens to produce beautiful design.

Endlessly Recyclable

Most of the aluminum produced in the late 1800s is very much alive today. In cans, computer parts — and Emeco furniture. Recycling aluminum saves 95% of the energy required to make the same amount from its virgin source.

Crafted in America

Emeco makes products in the USA. Just like they always have, since 1944. At their factory in Hanover, Pennsylvania, craftsmen turn scrap materials into chairs so strong that each one is guaranteed for life. That's how they define sustainability. Begin with what's left over. Turn it into what will last. Pretty much the Emeco story.
