Designed by Lella and Massimo Vignelli, the Max Cups and Saucers are a celebrated example of modern design applied to everyday rituals. First introduced as part of the Max collection, the set reflects the Vignellis’ belief that great design should be both beautiful and practical.

A distinctive detail defines the design: each handle connects to the cup wall to create a semicircular opening, a thoughtful gesture that enhances both the form and the experience of holding the cup. The collection’s clean lines, light-reflecting curves, and modular geometry create a minimalist aesthetic that feels as relevant today as it did when the collection debuted in Milan in 1964.

Like the rest of the Max collection, the cups and saucers are designed to stack efficiently, making them ideal for both home kitchens and office settings.
