How to Adjust & Care for Soji
Content: Care
  • Vacuum your chair as needed.
  • For additional cleaning, use a solution of lukewarm water and mild detergent (about 10%). Gently apply in a circular motion, then rinse with warm water and dry with a soft cloth.

Cradle your back with Soji’s built-in support. Or add even more with an optional adjustment that moves in a 3.5" range. 

Forward Tilt 

Angle the seat downward by 5° to support a forward-leaning posture — perfect for focused tasks.

4D Arms

Move each side up and down, side to side, front to back, and in and out to support your neck and shoulders.

Seat Height

Adjust the seat up or down depending on your height. Your knees should be at a 90° angle with your feet flat on the floor.

Tilt Tension

With or without the optional lumbar support, Soji curves along your lower back to reduce strain and fatigue. The profile of the chair echoes the natural curves of your spine, and you’ll notice right away when you sit down that the support feels natural and easy.

Intuitive Adjustments

With 4.6" height adjustment and 2.5" seat depth adjustment, you’ll find just the right position for your height, size, and overall preference. To find the right adjustment, sit with your feet flat on the floor and your knees at a 90° angle. Maintain an elbow angle between 70° and 120° and try to keep your wrists straight.

Genuinely Sustainable

Soji is over 60% recyclable. That means the majority of the chair can be broken down to be recycled — and it’s designed for easy disassembly, so recycling is hassle free. Additionally, we don’t use PVC, heavy metals, or flame retardants to make any of our chairs.

Great chair for the home office

This chair is comfortable with a lot of great adjustment options. I also like their variety of color options which can add some color or class to your home office and prevent it from just feeling like a cubicle at home

Initial impressions from someone with back injury

While I just received the chair and not had time to break it in, I am extremely impressed. I had a pretty significant back injury in the past and find it hard to get comfortable in most chairs and have to make sure to move around alot. This chair does not trigger my sciatic pain compared to other chairs. I still have to move around but I can sit comfortable for longer before having to switch to standing or using exercise ball. The forward tilt also allows me to slightly raise my standing desk and sit on edge of seat to add another position to help keep my back pain at bay.
