Holger Graf, with a Ph.D. in structural engineering, and Daniel Lantz, who immersed himself in Japan’s Shokunin craft traditions, brought together their unique perspectives to create Graf Lantz in Los Angeles. Inspired by a shared love for craftsmanship and unconventional materials, they began reimagining merino wool — a heritage textile — into refined, modern forms. Each piece is designed to endure and evolve beautifully over time, balancing art, function, and sustainability.
